Sarah Campbell is the founding pastor of Common Life Church & Farm. In her ministry, she seeks to connect people to practices of justice and community that dismantle destructive systems and participate in co-creating God's healing and wholeness for society and creation.
Sarah became passionate about environmental stewardship as a child exploring the beaches, estuaries, and Everglades of south Florida. This passion for earth care led her to learn about how healthy food systems can have a huge positive impact on human and non-human creation.
Sarah has been on a journey of becoming an anti-racist ally for over 10 years. Dismantling racism and participating in an empowered, diverse and inclusive community are vital to her life and work.
Sarah holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School and a Masters of Social Work degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. She lives with daughter Nyx on Dinner Bell Farm, a sustainable produce, egg, and pork farm owned and operated by her parents, John and Stephanie Campbell.
